A little background information:
I graduated in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford. A native French and English speaker, I am fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. I was then trained in documentary filmmaking in Barcelona and have co-directed 11 short documentaries with Otoxo productions, including 'El peso de la manta'.
In 2012, I was sponsored by STR to work in a stretch of Brazilian Atlantic rainforest as a videographer and photographer. For a year, I observed and recorded the environmental and social impact of the destruction of the rainforest. I was awarded a grant to develop the project by the City Hall of Valbonne Sophia-Antipolis (France), leading to the creation of 'Floresta', a multimedia touring exhibition.
My latest documentary, Pluma, has been awarded Best Documentary by Robinson Film Awards (Italy), and Official Selection of VII's Bienal Internacional Dona i Cinema (Spain), Porto Femme International Film Festival (Portugal), Flip the Script Fest (USA), Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film festival (India), QGL festival (Poland) and Cinema Femme Festival (USA).
